Extension & re-imagining of a house that was disconnected with its’ garden which was at a lower level. The challenge was to create a light filled, yet cosy family Living Room that linked both the garden at the lower level & reworked Kitchen & Dining Space at the upper level.

The solution was a split level design with glass balustrade & clerestory glazing above the patio doors to provide as much light to the various zones as possible.

The roof of the extension comprises two large frameless glass roof lights with a green sedum roof.
These works were achieved under Permitted Development Rights without the need for a full formal Planning Application.
