Conservation & Heritage Projects

We have many years experience of working on historically important projects. This includes the award-winning scheme of Royal Mills in Ancoats, Manchester, which over a five year period we had integral role working alongside English Heritage seeing the project progress from stabilisation, restoration, through Planning & Listed Building Consents, through to the design, supervision & handover.

Other notable projects have included West India Quay in London Docklands, which involved the restoration & conservation of Grade I Listed warehouses into quayside retails, restaurants & apartments.

In the North West, Damian has designed & supervised the development of Edward Pavilion which was the final part of Liverpool’s historic waterfront complex at the Albert Dock.

In Wales, Damian worked on the renovation of the Grade II Listed Bala Lake Hotel for John Lewis Partnership. This included a new build spa & wellbeing centre buried into the hillside. This building was the first building of this type that John Lewis had commissioned for its employees.

From significantly architectural important buildings we have also helped numerous clients gain permissions on their own homes whether they are listed or within a Conservation Area or both!
